We did it last week and it was hilarious. Basically, Cheryl sent an anagram of a household object to the family WhatsApp group. The players have to unscramble the anagram, then find that item in their house, take a selfie with it, and send the selfie to the WhatsApp group. Cue all of us racing around the house like loonies and snapping the most ludicrous selfies with things like toilet roll. It was hilarious! Scoring: the first person to send their selfie gets 3 points, second gets 2 points, and third gets 1.

My sister made us all send her the answers to 8 questions on WhatsApp. The questions are below in case you need some ideas, but they could be anything. Next, she simply asked each team a series of questions about one of the other players.

She also got my niece and nephew to act out the Rosa Parks bus incident, and dressed my 7-year-old niece as Frieda Khalo, complete with monobrow! This game is played by guessing what the group of emoji pictures are trying to say.Corn on the cob. Because you throw away the husk, cook the corn.

The following game was designed for the famous trivia bowl that took place at the University of Colorado at Boulder for so many years.

It should also translate well to pub and bar trivia. There are thirty-seven toss-up questions and twenty-two bonus questions. In the form of trivia that I'm used to playing, two teams of four compete against each other. Both teams are first asked a "toss-up" question.

When a player knows the answer at any time during the question reading, he or she can buzz in and answer. The following questions can be converted into a variety of different question types, but I present them here in the form they were intended. The "toss-up" questions are listed first, followed by the bonus questions. I strongly urge you, if you're interested in using them in the way they were intended, to pit a couple of teams against each other and play the game as instructed.

It's a blast. Otherwise, you can just read through and test your knowledge.
